Bottom bracket

Hi I’m needing to change the bottom bracket on my 2014 Specialized Allez sport but I’m not finding the exact one for the Sora groupset I can only fine one for a Tiagra or ultegra groupset and they seem to be different sized mm. The BB I have on atm says BC 1.37 x 24 ROAD LG but when I google that it draws a blank.

    I believe it will be your standard 68mm hollowtech bottom bracket. Bog standard and as cheap as chips, well when bought with fish it is. The 1.37x 24 refers to the thread diameter (hole diameter) and threads per inch.

    ^ wot he said. If it currently has a BS threaded Shimano Hollowtech BB then any other BS threaded Shimano Hollowtech road BB will do. At a pinch you could buy a MTB one and refit the central plastic tube from the one you take out.

    The only complicating factor is that the newer ones are a smaller external diameter and so need a different tool, or an adapter.
