As a roadie, who enjoys a bit of MTB I know precious little about the different types of MTB so would appreciate advice on this bike.
I’ve seen a 2017 Anthem Advanced 2 at a good price. I ride a lot of cobbled/roman road type tracks up and down hill, not a lot of technical stuff although the odd single track. Would this bike be suitable. Ie is the steering not too slack for picking my way slowly up steep rocky bits?
I currently ride a Van Nic Titanium hardtail which I do like, but think a full sus’ may be comfier and improve stability downhill.

It's an XC bike, kind of the least aggressive type of MTB.
