Ware's Cambridge? Postponed until 25th March

Those looking to enter the Ware's Cambridge? ride this weekend, it has been cancelled and postponed to the following week 25th March due to the forecast of snow and ice.

This was part of the message sent out to the entrants.

We’ve continued to monitor the weather situation for this Sunday and have concluded that conditions are not suitable for cycling. A wind chill of -8 and potential snow showers would not be enjoyable conditions to cycle in, above all it would be dangerous.

We’re sorry to have to postpone but this weather warning is really a freak occurrence for this time of year. We were hoping to leave this decision until tomorrow but it’s become very clear that things are not going to change.

It has taken a considerable amount of juggling but we have been able to postpone the event for a week, the new date now being Sunday the 25th of March. We know how much people love Ware’s Cambridge? and really don’t want all that early season training to go to waste.
