Really wasn't certain what section to put this so thought I would try General.

I have a pair of DHB Thermal tights, no issues with them apart from the ankle zips. They seem very loose, as in when i put the tights on and fasten the zips, they come apart again very easily.

I've only worn them once, is there anything I can do to make the zips more secure?

I bust the ankle zips on a pair a few years ago and just used to pull socks over the top then since it was always cold when I needed then would put overshoes over both anyway, hardly noticed

Is it because they're stretched over the leg ? I've similar on other makes of longs. You could pin the. I suppose but usually a pair of overshoes over the bottom stops them unzipping.

I've done a bit of diy and applied some hair spray along the length of the zip.

I also used some pliers to pinch the actual zip pull so it's tighter on the teeth and that seems to have helped.

Will see how it goes on my ride over the weekend.

    Thanks for the replies

My DHB roubaix bibtights have chunky ankle zips which were fine when new, but now part company randomly. I did briefly consider cutting them down to 3/4s, but as above, if it's cold enough to be wearing them I usually have my cheapo PX neoprene overshoes over the top, so it's not a practical issue.

My Sorpassos have brilliant ankle zips which reliably lock closed.

Seems to be a theme. My DHB thermals have busted ankle zips as well. I use a safety pin and then overshoes over the top.

Interested in this review. I need new thermal tights as the pad on my current pair has gone.

What's the pad like on these? I do 40-60+ mile rides. I see on review on Wiggle comments it is quite thin. What's your view?

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

I've no issues with the pads in my DHB longs or my DHB shorts.

Also check out Lusso = they are great value.

there are thicker pads for sure, but I cant say Ive noticed certainly on the tights that the pad is particularly buttnumbathon inducing, they are usually my go to winter staples.
