Just bought the wrong clip on TT bars sized at 35mm when my handlebars are 31.8

Rather than return is there a shim available so I can use these? Or is this not possible?

Thanks

I'd just send them the back for an exchange. The weight you put through them might just make rotate with shims if such a thing exists.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

Googling throws up lots of 26 to 31.8mm, but oddly none bigger from UK sellers

Hundreds of them on Ebay from China if you don't mind waiting.

But I'd second the advice to exchange them for the right ones if possible. Neater and more secure

    I'm seeing a tonne for 31.8 - 26mm, but none for 35mm down to 31.8.

Anyway, yeah, I'm going to return these.

    Cheers

I shimmed a set of MTB bars in an Evolution 1 1/4" stem with an offcut from the steerer on an old pair of 1 1/8" forks but TT bars are a different matter. I can remember reading about Greg Lemond asking his mechanic to tighten up the clamps on his aerobars as he could move them, the mechaninc and several others tried and failed yet Greg came along and managed to move them.
Send them back for the right clamp dia.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
