Running Shimano 105 5700 brakes pads need replacing any recommendations. Kool stop, Swiss stop, jagwire, Clarkes, dare I say lifeline

Koolstop salmon pads is all I use anymore, they last a very long time, and work in any weather including very wet weather where others fail, modulation feels better. Kool Stop with combination salmon and black will stop the bike an average of 6 feet shorter in dry and 2 feet shorter in wet than Shimano's best pads; in fact while wet the Kool Stops will stop in shorter distance by 4 feet over the Shimano pads when dry!

Go for Lifeline and change them frequently.

They don't work quite as well as the top pads when new, but aren't far behind. But you can afford to change them many times more often at £4 vs £18-20 and I reckon a new set of Lifelines would outperform a half worn Swisstop. Plus its much kinder on your rims.
