10 speed mtb cassette compatible with roadie 10 speed?

I'm wanting a friend to try my Kickr with his bike and he's got a roadie 10 speed - probably tiagra or 105. But i've got a 10 speed XT mountain bike cassette on the Kickr......can it work?

Should do. 10 speed cassettes are the same width. Gears may be different.

This, I use a SRAM MTB cassette 11-32 on mine without any problem, long as the biggest spocket is the same size its fine just the gearing is a little more spaced out the fast end of the cassette0
