I am moving to an appartment and wont have any space to store my bike. There is bike storage on the site but dont want to get my cento 1 chipped or damaged. I am looking for recommendations for a good heavyweight cover that I could put on it before locking it in the store. There are a few on the internet but does anyone have any recommendations.. TIA.

I would seriously think about somewhere in the apartment to keep it, wall mounted or otherwise because i doubt you will be covered for accidental damage/theft from the bike store?

Make sure you use a good lock if you're in a high risk area, problem with storage area if it's a shared storage that could be problematic since inside those places there isn't usually anything to attach a lock to thus anyone with access could bother your bike; if it's your private storage then all you need to do is make sure the door is kept lock. Far as a cover goes you can buy bike specific covers like this: https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Bike-Outdoor ... SCRV5CNYF8 Or a barbeque cover will also work but that bike cover I showed is probably cheaper then barbeque covers.

There are options for storing a bike inside that won't take up as much space as you think. There are ceiling mounts like this: https://www.amazon.com/Racor-PBH-1R-Cei ... B00006JBL3 If you're not allowed to drill holes into ceilings or walls then you can get a self standing bike rack like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ACAM38?ta ... AAAAAAAOxT

I’d do your most to keep it indoors. My old apartment complex had secure but shared bike storage, the cctv was rubbish though with the camera not capturing inside the storage area. The apartment facilities people installed two floor anchors for me and I had 5 locks, thieves still tried to get through them. I think they managed to get through one chain and a cable with padlocks, they couldn’t or didn’t get through the kryptonite New York chain or the d locks.
After that bike was stored in the apartment. The thing is even with the locks I was constantly worrying about theft. Shouldn’t have wasted my money and stored straight in apartment, yeah it’s a pain getting in and out, but better than bike being stolen.
