Training after a big steak and most of a bottle of wine...

.... what could possibly go wrong?

So it's date night, and what could be better, after a nice dinner out, than to excitedly drag the brand new Elite Drivo into the lounge, sign up to a Zwift trial, and see if the below-minimum-spec laptop will broadcast a ride to the telly.

In today's lesson, we learn that:

a) Captain Slowmo McSlow, winner of last year's Mr Slow Rider competition is even slower after a big meal and alcohol

b) The laptop isn't as slow as we feared, it works well, thank fark, as I have no money left.

c) The aforementioned datee is unimpressed by yours truly's mastery of the interwebz and misc. computer technology (not to mention the ability to not die while pushing out 120 Watts on the flat for 25 minutes), mutters various epithets such as "Yeah, Drive-O dahling" and goes to bed early.

Possibly some reflection on the wisdom of certain actions required... all helpful suggestions gratefully received.
Is the gorilla tired yet?

  • Oh, and

    d) Apparently the lounge (in front of the telly) isn't an appropriate long term location for the bike and turbo.

    Eh? :?:
