Ive been having some issues with my rear brake for a while so i decided to take a look, i took out the pads and squeezed the lever- the piston (there is only one on this calliper) didnt move and a load of fluide bubbled out from behind. Is there anything I can do to fix this? TIA

I’ve never seen service parts, so probably a new brake time.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Sounds like it's knackered so you ve nothing to lose by using some penertating fluid to try to unseize the piston, it may attack the seal. Also try to push the piston in. If you can get it to move then try to get it our and clean it up. If it's steel, then it may be badly rusted.
