How do you mount your Garmin?

New MTB has a 50mm stem so attaching the Garmin mount to the top of the stem is not possible.
I tried attaching to the bars with the rubber band things but the Garmin kept splipping down and ended up facing the ground due to the bumps etc.
How do you guys mount your Garmin's, do you use out-front mounts or are there other solutions?

Out front mount mounted backwards so the Garmin is held over the stem.
The bar mount shouldn't slip. Have you made sure the rubber base piece is in place?“Life has been unfaithful

I was going to reverse mount the Garmin Out-Front one so it places the Garmin over the top cap, but I couldn’t find the right rubber insert for my bars.
I have the K-Edge out-front one on my road bike and ended up buying a K-Edge top cap mount, nice quality bit of kit.0 -
