Pinarello f8 sizing

Evening all
Im looking for a new bike (used) cant find anything. Mate knows somebody selling an f8. Anyone know what size a 56 fits? Looking on the net so many people ride different sizes all very close in height? Im 179cm ish but im thinking its too big? Anyone else familier with the f8 sizing, imlooked up the geo chart and that seems a bit misleading to what people seem to ride? Im thinking its too big?

56 is too big for you. I’m 5’11 and had a 54 which was perfect. Sat on the 55 in the shop and it was uncomfortably larger0

I’m about 177cm (5ft 10 ish) and have a 55cm Bianchi which fits well, a medium (55cm) Ridley Noah and a 54cm Cannondale which has about 5mm below the minimum seat post line showing. The 56cm Synapse was a little too big in the same way the 54 is a tiny bit too small.0
