Looking for some advice on how much I should be selling my road bike for.

Used 2005 Fuji Team SuperLite

Size: 54cm

Fitted with brand new full Shimano 105 Groupset in 2013

Carbon Handlebars

2 bottle cages

Shimano SPD-SL pedals

Well kept and cleaned after every ride

Very very minor dent in top tube

Weighs 8.4kg

I realise that it’s a relatively old bike, but I figure the upgraded groupset should boost the price a little. Bike is in great condition considering the age.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Old bike with average outdated old groupset.

Dented frame - who what other underlying damage

    Heavy

Unknown provenance carbon handlebars so need changing straightaway.

£130 for a winter hack/commuter so long as the wheels aren’t shagged and the chain/cassette/chainrings aren’t worn, so long as the person who buys it doesn’t need to change all the cables and brake pads, handlebar tape, saddle.

If you've still got a use for it (winter bike, turbo bike) then not worth selling. Otherwise, maybe £100.

I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
  • Ery old bike and outdated as said above, if you have a reasonable job you would probably earn the same in the time it took you to write the advert. As said above £100 station bike or donate it to a charity

Selling complete bike isn't worthwhile - keep and use as commuter. Stripped and with components sold on ebay you'd likely raise considerably more.....
