Hi there

I've recently purchased some SPD pedals and now looking for some nice comfortable SPD shoes. Something that are comfortable, suitable for long rides - tours, sportives etc, easy to walk in. I cycle for pleasure so comfort is a must rather.

Budget of £100-150

Any suggestions please?

I don’t know how many different answers you are going to get, but my advice go to your local bike shops and try a few pairs on.
  • It's always a very personal choice but based on your requirements the Giro privateer are worth a look, I had a pair before switching to the giro VR90 and was really impressed with them.

As above, but personally I prefer shimano RT 32,s. Look like road shoes but designed for spd,s and the cleat gets recessed so you can walk without looking like a duck. Well under budget as well.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.
  • Perfect, I've ordered the Giro ones. Thanks all
