Road tyres on my 29er MTB

I have a 29er MTB currently and will be doing the Manchester to Blackpool 60mile charity ride again this year. Without buying a road bike which would get no use after the ride I’m thinking of fitting road tyres to my rims. I’ve read 700c’s should fit fine but just wanted to check and get a bit of advice on any particular tyres recommend. Will probably use them when commuting also which is 98% Road too.

My current rims are WTB i9 29” Rims.

    Any sort of hybrid bike commuting tyre would do the job. 700c same fit as 29er. I used to use Schwalbe City Jets on my MTB commuter.
