    Evening Bally.

I was going to add "...and we'll give you 2 months free Plusnet line and broadband rental as compensation..." to the Merlin thread but I might bring out the PC brigade

How about offering a free ride with Frank Wilson's 'fcuk a milf' advert? Would that be more acceptable?
Or perhaps Merlin customer service has taken on all the podium girls that some miserable bastards on here are glad to see unemployed?

Quite. I think I may have to go and delete it before a posse starts throwing rocks at my house.

Stuck in my mother's garage (No room in mine) Conditions have been foul so have used the old one. Perhaps Tuesday will see them swapped over.
Went out briefly the day after I got it. Like a fcuking armchair, it is that comfy. :D

Have been on the lookout for some cheap second hand rollers for next winter. Been out this week after a few months off the bike and was shocked at how I have gone back to square one. Riding half the distance but twice as knackered.

I will swap saddles over though and stick with the Selle

Why not get another similar saddle? I know of a very good supplier...

Now the proud owner of a set of rollers. What possibly could go wrong?

Missus has already made clear the consequences of crashing into any furniture.

How does that keep you on the rollers and prevent you falling off?

It doesn't. It means my front axle is incompatible with the Tacx support stand.

Uh?! You took your QR skewer out and put the through axle in... Take the through axle out and put the QR skewer back in, surely?

I am totally confused. You bought a bike with a through axle in the front wheel?!

It wasn't bought specifically for the rollers.

I bought the bike with a front through axle. Then got to thinking of the long dark crap winter days and then got a second hand set of rollers, hopefully to use when the weather is shite.
I see what you mean re the support stand but it is only compatible with a front skewer.

Yes, it's hard work (but not if you have a T bar) :D

Why not use the old hack with a T bar?

That will probably be how I will end up.
Mind you I have all summer to practise.
