Riding in LA, California

Hi All, I've had an opportunity to go to LA on a work trip. First time to America and could be the last chance too.

I will only have one day to myself, so I was planning to rent a road bike and do some sightseeing on two wheels.

Any ideas where I could get a nice route from?

    Where about in LA are you staying?

    I was in Santa Monica for a week and did a number of routes from there that I could share with you.

    Best off driving out of the city a bit first.

    Driving in the city is bad enough let alone cycling!
