Bike Computer constantly at 0% and only works while in charger

I got a new bike computer recently and I ran it out of charge there the other day. Now, it's stuck on 0%. I've contacted the company and they're sending me a replacement but surely there must be some easy fix to it. Is there any app I can download to at least pinpoint the problem?

    You haven't said what make and model or computer! Have you tried resetting it?

    If they are sending you a replacement, then no 'fix' is needed. As mentioned above, nobody here is psychic, so nobody can possibly suggest anything useful unless you actually identify whatever device it is you have.
