Canyon Ultimate Disc vs Bike Box

I'm hoping someone can help. I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on a Canyon Ultimate CF SLX Disc with Di2. I love the way that the Di2 wiring and hydraulic hoses have been internally routed through the stem and steerer tube to create a super clean front end. My one worry is that this routing makes it all but impossible to stow it in a bike box. I travel overseas with my bike several times a year and I need to be able to pack it without having to strip the bike down and definitely not draining/bleeding the hydraulic brakes. Does anyone have one of these bikes and have any experience of trying to pack it in a bike box (Velo Vault 2 looks the best option for not having to remove the discs/rotors from the wheels - the BikeBox Alan doesn't yet allow for the wheels to be packed with the rotors attached).
