Why would you want them to do it? Can't you just pop in to any of them, ask for a box, get hold of some bubble wrap and get to work with an allen key?0

It'd take you ten minutes to do ?0

Because the bike is 650 miles away from me so I cant do it, it is the seller.0 -
Ah, I see. So why can the seller not deal with it?0

The local guys are all really helpful. But short of chucking them quite a lot for their time, cos packing stuff does take a bit of work, I can't see them easily doing this. Heck, finding the right box is often a chore, some too big.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

It's not that difficult. The shops get bikes in every week this way and presumably they send the bikes back for warranty this way too ?0

It isn't but it does take time. So reversing the process, zip tie on stuff, add protection, print labels etc. It's probably a 45 minute job for which, quite rightly, they'd want paying. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I did think the OP would be paying for it. They must have an hourly rate for jobs ?0
