Who will make 150 pro wins first ("shit small races" included)?
According to procycling stats, Cav is on 146, Greipel on 149.

This Gaviria fetish has got to stop, Joel. Otherwise we'll have to stage an intervention. We'll come round and take away your Quickstep bedspread, all your posters, the lifesize cardboard cut-out AND the figurines.

It’s Gaviria and López this year. Sigh.

Greipel will get there first, probably. still a class act, but probably will wind down over the next couple of years. Think Cav has 2-3 more years at the top.

Voted for Cav but the numbers make it look like Griepel will get there first. Didn't Cav say he was riding in support in Abu

You can't see much from the video but I don't know how that was anything to do with the race director.

Apparently it was the auto brake system for crash avoidance on the car that caused the issue, not human error :|

What was it trying to avoid crashing into on that closed road with nothing in the lane in front of it? Not a great advert for Mercedes if it's true. Does it brake every time a bike comes close to it from behind?

Yes, wasn't having a go - I'd read the same and it struck me as dangerous in city traffic if it's going to automatically brake whenever a bike comes close.

I've had this thought too. With peds, bikes and m/c manouuvering through traffic the likelyhood of even greater gridlock looms

I could maybe understand if the riders had gone round the front of the car - but at the side ? Surely that happens in traffic every day ?

Have to say, I didn't anticipate this going to May, thought it would be done and dusted long before.

Was happy to see Cav was back on his bike in Yorkshire last week.
