11-32 cassette rear mech compatibility

I have a short cage 105 rear mech with an 11-28 cassette on it at the moment, but want to swap to something like a 11-32.
Will my short cage mech take the bigger mech size?

It might, with some fettling, but a 105 medium cage £31.99 at Wiggle, will definitely do so.

I’ve run an 11-30T on my 9070.

New 9150 will take up to a 36T cassette with the B-screw all the way in.

Obviously this is bike dependant (length, geo of hanger).

I got one for short cage 6800 mech on my new build, but haven't installed it yet, but supposedly works good.
