Swapping chainset

Hi I have an ultegra chainset 52/36 and wanting swap for a compact 50/34 which I have off my other broken bike, is it this relatively easy, just need alter chain length?

    swap the chains as well..

    And drop front mech down to accommodate smaller cogs.
