bike upgrade

Hi I have a colnago dream with flash fork and campagnolo khamsin wheel set and I was wondering I could upgrade my tire to from 23 to 25mm. Would that be possible?

Also I have a shimano mazona with shimano ultegra 6500. The chainring and pulley wheels have worn out and I am thinking of a replacement. Would a shimano ultegra 6500 chainring be the only viable option? As for the pulley wheel, a Shimano Ultegra 6600 / 6700 would also be compatible right?

Depends on what tyre and the clearances you have.

Best to get tyres and try and if they don't fit then just return them.

You've got the bike - what do the clearances look like with the 23mm on ? As to pulleys - do you mean the cassette ? Any shimano cassette that has the same number of gears and similar teeth count will work.
  • The clearance seems fine.

For the pulley set, I meant the jockey wheel rather than the cassette.

Also for my shimano ultegra 6500, what particular chain do I need to look at? Only the 9 speed ones?
