xd1 freewheel compatible with shimano 105 shifters

Hello,

If I acquired a wheel with an 11 speed xd1 freewheel on it ... would it accept an 11speed cassette (sram I assume) that is compatable with my bikes existing 11speed 105 setup ?

is the spacing and everything else the same just the ability for the xd1 to have a tiny 10tooth cog ?

    Spacing is the same, it's unlikely to mind 10 teeth instead of 11, finding a cassette that doesn't have a huge number of teeth on the other end (beyond the capacity of your derailleur) might be the larger problem.

    ah .. yes I hadnt thought of that .... dang everything costs money ...

    goes off to google if swapping the freehub is doable
