It is bollox. Apple TV will work as long as you have an iTunes account.

If you've got the Zwift app on your Apple TV, why have you had to upgrade your phone? You don't need to mirror anything and as long as you're on the same wifi link as Apple TV, the ZML will act as a remote for you on the phone. Any phone.

It says you sign into iTunes (on Apple TV or anything else) using your Apple ID (so your iTunes account = your Apple ID). As I've already got a working Apple ID I'm guessing that's all covered then. If not, cross that bridge when I get there!

One of the great things about having an iOs device is that, when you set up ATV for the first time, it looks for your nearby iOs device and just does it all automatically.
