Niterider Pro 1200 Race battery

i have the above light which is powered by a 7.2v battery which is knackered,would an 8.4v battery be safe to use as it seems difficult to find a 7.2v battery,

    It looks like it's just 4 18650 Li-Ion batteries. It should be fairly simple to open it up and replace them. Alternatively, you could use something like THIS and just swap the lead over from the old battery pack.

    so it'll be ok to use an 8.4v battery with a 7.2v light??
