Hi guys,
I'm sorry for the bad english, but I'm italian.
I've to buy a bike for a journey in Scotland (about 15 days, mainly on road and about 50 miles on dirt).
I can spend max 250 (excluding bikepacking) and I've found some ads. These cost all 250 euro, except for the 8 (180 euro). I'd prefer a versatile bike...
I'm a beginner, so is there someone who can help me and suggest what's the best for my journey and in general the best offer? I consider also other proposals. Thank you very much :D

f you are planning on riding for 15 days as your first ride, I'd suggest buying a bike now and riding.

Or your backside will be chopped liver by the time you finish.

No specs, and pictures aren't very good, but all look pretty rubbish.

Or did, most of the pictures have disappeared for me.

If you want to buy a road bike you are in the wrong forum. This one is for mountain bikes.

Triban bikes get good reviews - I can't see which bike you've linked to though.

What kind of mileage on the road ?
What kind of terrain is the offroad ?

15 days of cycling sounds a lot for a beginner - but sounds like a great adventure.

Ignore this spammy bollocks, and the recommended bike is a crappy BSO.
Hi, Guti! I had the same problem as you recently. I was preparing for a little trip in Colorado and suddenly realised that my bike isn't good enough and kinda old really. I asked my friends around, dig the internet for help, went to store to consult. I've got tons of advices, but not a clearcut suggestion. Everyone was telling a lot of flashy words, but no one really got to the point. Then, while researching, I've stumbled across this article and in 2 days I've got myself a new bike. I chose GMC Topkick and highly recomend it. Good luck on your trip!

Yes, I know. I posted here because the most of the bikes above are mtb.

Why can't you see the bikes?
Probably, I was thinking about doing a maximum of 100 miles offroad, but I posted mainly mtb because I don't want a road bike that can't be used offroad. I'd rather a more uncumfortable but more versatile bike...
For this reason I didn't search racing being but mostly mtb and gravel-like...

    Sorry I read bad.
On the road about 560 miles, 30 miles per day.
About offroad I was doubtful about doing the west highland way (the terrain is like this: https://photos.smugmug.com/West-Highlan ... 82_1-L.jpg)

Now, I've found a triban at 250 euro...
