It's live on Freeview channel 95 Freesports early every morning as well. If recording make sure you record the following program as well because it normally runs over.

Yep theres a short round up on youtube a couple of hours after each stage finish. More than enough!

Especially as their on screen graphics now seem to get switched off at the 20kms to go mark.
So much hype over a 10 minute drag uphill.
So far it's been last year's the Tour of Britain, with the oven door left open, instead of the fridge.

But how would you know what 30 degrees feels like? :P

:D:lol: I'm old enough to have experienced both, albeit 30 degrees in the UK is rare, except of course in sunny Dorset where it's that temperature everyday from June to August. 8)

Egan Bernal doesn’t look convinced on being told he’s massively asthmatic and as a precaution needs to drink this can of inhaler.

No surprises as Porte takes it but Impey in 2nd will probably take the overall (no one thought he was a contender for some reason). Bernal in 4th.

This race clearly doesn't provoke much interest. Impey provides Scott with s bit of a surprise overall winner though Greipel gets the better of Ewan again on the last stage.

Wilunga Hill had some fun crosswinds.

Can’t find the 2 min vid of the final stage.

But yes, this is just a season warm up for the fans.

    Pre season friendly.
  • Just watched the last 5k of the final stage

Was a great finish, lots going on and plenty trying something on to mix it up.

Completely agree with the comments re Caleb Ewan sprint. Looks wrong.

Chris Lawless too, if we're talking young Brits.

Ewans got (along with Marezko) the most aero sprinting position I have ever seen, comparing the numbers he sticks 1300 ish out for his kick, where Greipel, who is far less aero puts out 1900 with an average of 1600 for his kick. that's a pretty staggering difference...

Yes, the empty bucket next to me when Greipel sprints versus the full bucket of sick next to me when I see Ewan sprint is also a staggering difference.

I'm not convinced it's a safe technique. He almost lost it hitting a bump on a sprint at the ToB (I think). His weight is too far forward.

I'm not a fan of his position, but let's be fair, sprinters crash a fair bit whatever their position. I'm pretty sure he's not been especially 'crashy' in his career.

If Cavendish incorporates it into his skillset he will never be finished. :P

It’s not Tour Down Under and doesn’t deserve its own thread, but man; Steele Van Hoff sure has some legs...

Steele Van Hoff isn't a real person. He's a character from an early 90s US TV pilot called Man of Steele about a New York cop that plays by his own rules. It was never picked up. Surprisingly he was played by Bryan Cranston who didn't get his big break until the 2000s with Malcolm in the Middle and then later Breaking Bad.
