Are the same four as last year: Cofidis, Fortuneo, Direct Energie and Wanty. No place for Bryan Coquard and the new Vital Concept team.

    Cofidis? What's the point?
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

For the Dauphine, Vital Concept will be there instead of Direct Energie

For Paris-Nice it's Cofidis, Direct Energie, Vital Concept and Delko

Big sponsor of ASO's other GT, innit
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Not Vital Concept, it’s Fortuneo for P-N.

There are only twenty-four* riders who were in the race the last time Cofidis won a Tour stage that are still riding for World Tour teams.

(*Give or take one or two)

Anthony Perez to win a stage this summer. You heard it here first.
  • July - Mysterious appearances of cyclists wearing 'Cofidis' kit at the Tour dismissed as fantasy by seasoned UFO believers.

Should have put a bloody fiver on it.
  • Good to see Wanty back, they were often the most entertaining thing last year - Guillaume Van Keirsbulck’s epic 190km solo break on stage 4 being possibly my favourite moment of the entire tour.

Plus all the best people ride a Cube bike... ;)

Perhaps they should get some new inhalers, then they might win something.

A doomed suicide break was [possibly] your favourite moment of the Tour ?!?!

Yeah, it was funny. He could have dropped back, but carried on because “that would have looked stupid”. It was great

To be fair they have been sponsoring a team for a long time now, ASO may take that into account, no Tour and Cofidis may just think there are better things to spend money on.

That's a pretty generous definition of world class.

However, Bouhanni was the top ranked European Tour rider last year and Cofidis were the second ranked team (behind Wanty) so their place is on merit.
