Front mudguard

Are there any mudguards out there that are only mounted at the front brake mount? I'm trying to fit a disc cross bike with mudguards for commuting but would like them to be fairly easy to remove for when I want to use it as an actual cross bike. Haven't seen anything that fits the bill thus far.
