Left / right power meter data with indoor training software

I have dual Watteam Powerbeats that I've paired directly with TrainerRoad on my laptop. When recording, only one (e.g. PowerBeat.L) is indicated as the power source. Is there a way to a) average power and cadence from both and b) view separate left and right data?

I don't have a bike computer yet. Wondering if I paired the power meters with a bike computer and paired the bike computer with TrainerRoad I'd at least solve the first problem (averaged power).

I'm not sure there is on TR. I have a dual sided Infocrank, and as far as I can see, TR doesn't give me independent measurements, but my Garmin head unit does (and uploads the metrics in Garmin Connect)

Do you pair TR with your Garmin, and does TR then record your combined (average) power?

No, I just pair the Infocrank with TR directly

Same here, I run Powertap P1s and Garmin gives me individual L/R power data, but I can't find a way of seeing this in TR.
