Hi all,
Part way through my new bike build and looking at tyre options. I've run a set of Maxxis Ardent on my current bike and as an all round tyre been extremely happy with them in winter and summer conditions.
The new bike will predominately be ridden in the better months and will keep the current one for the boggy mess that is the UK trails in winter!
I am trying to decide what options to go for on the new bike. Currently I was looking at a few different options. My budget choice was going to be a Specailized butcher/slaughter combo and if I wanted to spend a bit more a Maxxis combo with probably the Shorty and the Minion. Anyone have any experience of these tyres or can recommend a different setup that's worked well for them.
Cheers

Minion DHF triple compound up front, then a DHR 2 or High Roller dual compound on the rear. For seriously dry and quick rolling conditions you could go with the Minion SS on the rear!Daddy, Husband, Designer, Biker, Gamer, Geek
