3rd overall 2008 Avenir behind Bakelants and Costa. Signs pro and rides with Valverde and Rodriguez for 2009 and 2010 at Caisse. Goes a bit quiet but then 14th in Tour still under 25(2011) Then next year looks set for good season with 6th in Paris Nice behind Wiggins. But then goes quiet again. Has a bad crash in 2014 then never seems to be the same again?

Good cross rider as well and currently riding hard in the French Cup races
