Looking at my first power meter and the Stages FSA Mega EXO is on offer but I would like to know if this would fit my Giant Propel Advanced pro 2 which has 105 5800 and Tiagra RS500 press fit BB.

According to some reviews, it should fit the hollowtech 2 but can anyone confirm or recommend another within this price range 250-250?

Thanks!

  • The FSA will obviously only fit on an FSA chainset so if you are running Shimano 105 you need a Shimano version. Any will do (105 up to DA) as they all fit the same. If you don’t own an FSA chainset then the money saved is lost on a new chainset. As for the Bottom bracket, that can remain regardless which option you choose

The 4iiii precision power meter is generally cheaper than the stages. Or if you don’t mind a bit of diy then the watteam powerbeat is available for just over £250.
