Looking to build a winter single speed hack from bits in the garage & need a frame. I've seen a NS bikes Clash, any thoughts on the frame?. It'll be 26" wheels with a 140mm fork plugged into it. Be riding flatish local trails so nothing extreme. I would prefer a steel frame but not much around atm.

Cheers & happy Xmas riding

Budget? There are a few steel frames around that suite your requirements, but 26" is getting rare.

Bare in mind that 27.5 is only a 12.7mm bigger radius, so you can use 26" wheels in a 27.5 frame just fine as ling as it doesn't have a crazy low BB already, just keep to bigger tyre sizes.

    19.05 mm radius.
  • No set figure for budget other than cheap as chips.

Not actually considered a 27.5 but thanks for the idea

No, 27.5 is actually 27” to the same measuring system you get a 26” and the rim is 25mm larger diameter. So no, not 19mm.

    Smart fail......
