Women's UCI Peleton salaries

Nearly half of the women’s UCI peloton races for less than 5,000 Euros (A$7,700) a year, with 17.5 percent of that group going completely unpaid, and nine out of 10 signed their contracts without any legal assistance.

I'd be interested to see the figures for the male peleton. It maybe explains why there is a big difference in level between the top 25% and the rest in the women's peleton. So a lot of women are racing for inner tubes and a t-shirt in the UCI Peleton.
