Swapable Single Speed Cx

Bear with me here. Currently, at CX races I’m only eligible to race in two categories, which always happen at the same time. . I’d love to be able to race in a couple more races given that I’m traveling to these events. To do this, i would need a single speed and to compete in that category.
If i just shifted my derailleur into the middle of where the cassette would be (it’s a Sram force 1 with clutch) and added a single cog with spacers on each side, would that work? Are there any kits that are designed for this?
Ideally all this would require to swap is to remove the cassette and swap to the other cog, and vice versa. This would allow me to race in both categories.

Just buy a cheap second hand frameset, build it with cheap second hand bits/ stuff you have in garage and add a single speed conversion. Could easily do this for sub £250. Although if you've got any legs left after an hour CX race you aren't trying hard enough
