Finally got a winter setup for my beloved Vela that I'm happy with:

Crud mk2 (no more ass savers!)
Knog rear light, Lezyne front
Conti 4 season 23C (really love these tyres)
SKS frame-mounted pump (I know, but well, it's pretty discreet & I'm bored filling pockets with co2)
Saddlebag for spares & phone (pockets now free for more food!)

No more soaking feet & daily frame cleaning! Well happy. :D

  • Looks good.
Have you put tape on the frame before you attach the crud guards to your frame ? This will stop the cruds friction rubbing against your frame and leaving scratches that rub off the paint or carbon finish.
    Good luck.

I always found either a spot of sparkie tape or heli tape do the job nicely, heli tape if your worried about it matching.

Cheers, I did think about it but that's as far as I got....was in too much of a rush to get 'em on.
Doesn't matter too much as I'll be riding this until it falls apart.
