Another vote for Woolie Boolies. For years I wore them in summer shoes with overshoes all through winter and still thought they were great - although when it got properly cold it was still "nippy toes" time.

This season I've paired them up with Specialized Defroster winter boots and the combination is warm, all the time. It's now noticeable that when I wear my 3/4s (most of the time) if the temp gets down beyond 5 deg C then my feet do get colder than if I wear my full DHB Roubaixs. I've worn that combination down into the minuses this year and had no issues at all.

+1 Woolie Boolies. Comfy, warm and hard wearing. Great as hiking socks also!
