TRP Revox vs. mini V-brake

I've read that the TRP Revox brake has a very high stopping power compared to other cantilever brakes.
Is that stopping power on par with that of a mini V-brake?
I want to ride my cross bike in traffic, too, so I want to stop fast if I have to.
Mini V-brakes have served me well in this regard but I hope to improve the brake pad clearance to the rim with the Revox.

Never tried RevoX but have had TRP Mini V and EuroX. Shorty Ultimate would my recommendation for canti brakes. Work superb and very easy to setup/adjust.0

I've got Revox, they're very good for cantilevers, as good as the Ultimates I'd say and also easy to adjust. Not as much stopping power as mini v-brakes though, even the cheap Tektro mini v's I used to have were more powerful. Agree with the rim clearance being an issue though, which is why I changed.0

If that is for front & rear that is a very good price. If not, I recently got some from Evans for £70 each, plus you can get a bit of cash back via Quidco.0 -
