Hi I'm Simon just joined. I'm from walsall in the west midlands. I decided to get into mountain biking about 2 months ago. I needed a new hobbie as for the last 8 years my hobbies has been my subaru impreza but getting abit bored of it now 
. Anyway with cannock chase on my door step I brought a gt avalanche sport(now forsale). After my 1st ride on f.t.d I really got the bug for it. I've rode the gt 3 times and decided I needed upgrade so I've just brought a 2015 boardman comp f.s with few nice upgraded. Slx crank,single 10speed crank. Gold chain,shimano zee rear derailer etc. Not taken it out yet due to the bad weather. The bike is like new. Looking for some advice on suspension set ups but think I learn alot when I do get out on it. Trial and error. I've also entered the chase winter race series on 25th of feb 2018 so need train hard after Christmas. Be good meet some regular locals if any of you meet up over the chase regular that can give me some tips. Seems a good forum
