Mudguards won't fit!

    I've made the decision to return them. Now it's a case of trying to decide which alternatives to get.

    Easiest to buy a bike that has them fitted already ?

    I ordered a pair of Crud Roadracers. I discounted the Raceblades, as they just don't do the job properly as far as I can see. The whole point of mudguards is to keep road crap off your bike and off you, where as the rear RB's only do half a job. They stop stuff being flicked off the top of the rear wheel, but offer zero protection from stuff from the front of your rear wheel, and offer no protection for your seatpost and chainstay area (the most difficult part to clean), your chain, your chainset, or your legs, which seems to be missing the point if you ask me. Where as the RRs offer full protection, and even have a little side bit to protect your chainset and chain.
