Get Rid Of Hybrid Suspension?

I have a Pinnacle Chromium 2 Hybrid, I swapped the stock tyres for Schwalbe Marathon Plus and they make a big difference, much more eager to accelerate.
I have also found locking suspension off is a lot better since i'm mostly on tarmac, I go nowhere near off road.
So thinking I could get rid of the suspension completely to save weight.
Anyone know if I can get solid forks for it?
Thx.

Yes, but make sure you get suspension corrected forks - you need to match the axel-crown distance so the geometry stays the same. Make sure your rigid forks have the fittings you want too - brake mounts, mudguard eyelets etc.
Current versions of this bike are listed with rigid forks.
You can (probably) save a kilo for a modest outlay. There is little advantage to suspension forks on bikes that never stray from tarmac or towpath rides.0 -
I actually meant cobalt not chromium.0

So 63mm suspension, discs, 700C wheelsize?
I think you need about 400mm axel to crown.
Something like this should work, but you need to check measurements

There are cheaper options out there too. I there was a Kona P2 for 700c disc, which you might find on second hand. These are straight, so they don't absorb the bumps so well, although I've been fine with a 26" version and 32mm tyres (on a 26" mtb).0
