Recommendations for some SPD shoes

Hi

Would anyone have any good recommendations for some SPD shoes with recessed cleats please? Looking to replace my shimano RT32s but can only find the new RT5 which look a bit lightweight for daily commuting. The old RT82 are ok but difficult finding stock with correct sizes. Looking around the £50 mark if possible, and call it vanity but was trying to avoid the chunkier MTB style shoe as I tend to use SPD on my winter bike too.

I use Sidis but they are probably a bit expensive for commuting. You can treat yourself. My Drakos are top end mtb soles with road uppers. Maybe a lower spec version? Check sizing though!

This is a Good Idea™. I've got a pair of the Troikas and they're really comfortable and strike a good balance between walkability and pedalling stiffness. Very pleasing.

I've got on best with Sidis over the years. You do need to size up. These are perhaps worth considering at £79.99 from Merlin if they have your size.

Yet to cut around cleat covers (currently flat pedals on the Voodoo), but I've been using my blue pair for the last week, very happy with them.
