Hi,
On the hunt for a smart turbo trainer, I dont have a power meter so after a direct drive turbo thats as accurate as can be for as little expenditure as possible.
Been looking at various and started to narrow it down to the Elite Direto as I can get that for £650, then came across the Elite Real Turbo Muin for £500 here -

Does anyone have a view?
Spec wise for the headliners of wattage and slope resistance gives a clear winner to the Turbo Muin, but its slightly older tech so would the Direto be a safer bet?
Not been able to google much about the Real muin.

I also looked at the Real Muin recently and had great trouble finding reviews.
I did finally manage to speak to someone who owned one and the comments were not positive. He explained that the issue is with the magnetic resistance which apparently does not work at all well with online programs and in conjunction with the fluid.
But like i say, this was just one opinion and he may well have just had a dodgy unit or perhaps something interfering with the signal. Still, it was enough to put me off buying it.
For a hundred and a bit more go for the direto.0
