Shimano 6800 - What's the best price that you've seen?

Looking to buy the Ultegra 6800's but best price that I can find is around $650USD on Chain Reaction, however they don't have any of the 170MM remaining in the 52/36's. I did find the Ultegra R8000 elsewhere for $749USD, so am contemplating buying this set if the 6800's aren't available anywhere for under $600USD. Does anyone know of any sites that would still have the 6800's in 170MM for around this price?

I'd just be aware that is with direct mount brakes, unless of course that's what you need!Scott Foil RC

CRC with the British cycling discount code and it comes in at £449.
Flog the chainset and buy separately in 170mm to suit your needs.0 -

Good question...not sure if I need direct mounts or not. I have a new Bowman Palace R that I'm trying to build up. Would appreciate your input on this matter.0 -

Simples - if there is one hole for mounting brakes (in centre of forks) then its standard. Two holes either side of the fork means direct mount. Of course some frames (Scott Solace inc) have a standard front brake and a chainstay mounted direct mount rear.Scott Foil RC

Is this like the reverse of the bargains thread?
Where can I find the cheapest price for an out of date/ superseded item?
