Rotor Upgrade advice
Other than a new rotor and a +20mm spacer is there any other consideration I need to upgrade my front BB5 (New Sora brake levers) to a 180 mm rotor ?
I am running a full Cr-Mo fork and the bike manufacturer said it will take a 180 mm rotor fine.
Is it just a case of bolting on the spacer and new rotor ?
Anyone got any experience of Avid BB5 with a 160-180mm rotor upgrade ?
FYI - I prefer instant bite and less lever pull vs modulation etc so I figure a bigger rotor will give me more power for similar or even less pull with less heat and longer pad life.
