Thanks, Admin, for accepting me.

By way of an opening post (bear with me..) I'm intrigued to see whether anyone can shed any light on a Mercier which I bought a while back as a lightweight frame, Zeus BB, SR seat pin and San Marco (Mercier Sport-branded) saddle, like this:
#jdkBI4Crnw12e2f4bf1b [If the image doesn't display then I've screwed up..]

I've added some (I think) period-correct Campagnolo Record parts, so now it looks like this:
#kIiEkaVIi112e2f4c036 [Comment re. images as above..]

It still needs work but rides like a dream, but its history, type of tubing, etc., remain a mystery.
What I do know:
Vitus dropouts;
28mm seat tube; 26.4mm seat pin; top tube 26mm
Mercier 'crowned M' stamped logo above rear stays (which have no eyelets)
Bocama Super Leger Luxe 2 lugs
The figure 3 stamped on steerer tube + under BB shell (no S/N)
Chain stays have no seams inside
Hand-written on steerer tube is: LA Rand Jet(?) D - frame builder note, team ID? I've no idea.

If the pics display I'll post some showing details.

Thanks - I'll happily comment, if I can help, on any French road bikes (I'm based in France).
