Calibre two two?

I’m looking for a mtb for my 12 year old son and am considering the go outdoors calibre two two, here’s the link-

Looks like pretty good value, any thoughts or experiences of this bike?
It will be used as an intro to trail centres etc, is there any other brands I should consider. I’ve looked at eBay but it seems a bit hit and mis.

Any thoughts or suggestions most welcome, thanks in advance.
